Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment on construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role involves working with equipment such as dump trucks, front loaders, track hoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in the successful completion of construction projects by performing tasks that require mechanical knowledge and expertise in heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, front loaders, track hoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers for installing underground utilities.
- Perform digging and excavation tasks as required for project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, front loaders, track hoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers
