Your mission

Reporting directly to the Global Sector Leader, you will be responsible to identify and lead transformational programs based on deep knowledge of customer needs to drive growth in the Oil & Gas sector with existing and new customers.

You have the leadership ability to build a clear vision on where Brüel & Kjær Vibro can grow exponentially in the Oil & Gas sector and you possess the ability to turn this vision into results through excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Own and drive the development and execution of the global sector strategy playbook to increase sales in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Manage the overall alignment of the sector strategy with Product Management, R&D and Services to ensure sector solution requirements are adequately reflected in roadmaps and service offerings.
  • Monitor the Oil & Gas sector strategy execution (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and provide monthly / quarterly reports on sector strategy progress and sector order entry and revenue vs targets to sales and executive management.
  • Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success.
  • Develop and nurture C-level relationships at assigned customers, with the intention of having referenceable customers and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development and sales progression / velocity.
  • Develop deep customer and market knowledge through market, competitor and VOC research to inform and enhance the sector's commercial strategy and solution offering.
  • Identify CMS product trends and needs as well as marketplaces for areas to grow market share.
  • Increase customer acquisition or loyalty by implementing activities that drive conversion : product, price, promotion and channel development.
  • Develop proposals to drive organic and inorganic growth to strengthen the sector strategy including new channels and M&A.
  • Liaise with Marketing Communications team and provide thought leadership on how to develop and promote messaging for the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Liaise with NSK sector management to ensure alignment of the Oil & Gas sector strategy of both companies.
  • Maintain a strong network within both Brüel & Kjær Vibro and NSK.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • A proven track record in leading programs with a cross-functional team to win new accounts and to increase sales and profitability.
  • A Customer-centric mindset.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategic business plans.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and ability to manage complex sales processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Good business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) in English - a second European language (German, French or Spanish) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel intensively.
