Fiber Internet Installer

We are looking for a motivated Installation Technician to install and maintain our field equipment. As an FTTH/FTTB Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in connecting homes and businesses to the power of high-speed internet. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor as you will interact with customers daily.

Responsibilities:

• Install internet equipment, including wiring, routers, modems, and other devices, at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to internet connectivity and equipment.
• Interact with customers to address their needs and provide technical support.
• Perform routine maintenance on internet equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility of internet installations.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Program devices, routers, and related equipment.

Skills:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and potentially in awkward or elevated positions.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to internet installation and maintenance.

· A background in telecommunications or electronics is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
