Duties
- Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively sell items and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and provide accurate change.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with familiarity using POS systems.
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
