Job Description:
The Phlebotomy Specialist will play a critical role in the success of our plasma donation center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe collection of plasma from donors, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
The Phlebotomy Specialist will play a critical role in the success of our plasma donation center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe collection of plasma from donors, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer health history questionnaires to donors and assess their suitability for donation.
- Operate and maintain equipment used for donor qualification and donation, as well as for the processing and storage of donor samples and products.
- Perform quality control checks and report any equipment issues to management.
- Communicate effectively with donors, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records, track inventory, and document activities and issues.
- Promote customer satisfaction through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Report any incidents or concerns to management promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or the equivalent (must show proof).
- Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
