Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong focus on quality workmanship. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all repairs meet safety standards and customer expectations.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs on various vehicles, including collision repair and restoration work.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for auto body repair, including welding and fabrication techniques.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Work with sheet metal to restore vehicle structure and aesthetics effectively.
• Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes to customers or management.
• Collaborate with team members in a dealership environment to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in auto body repair or related fields is essential.
• Familiarity with auto restoration processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Experience in a dealership setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
