Responsibilities:
- Operate with Precision: Drive forklifts to seamlessly transport vehicles, parts, and materials within our bustling auto wrecking yard.
- Safety First: Execute tasks with the utmost care, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Organization Mastery: Assist in inventory management, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of parts and materials.
- Yard Maintenance: Keep our yard pristine and organized, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
- Communication is Key: Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintenance Mindset: Conduct routine checks on forklifts, reporting any issues promptly for swift resolution.
Position Requirements:
- Proven driver in a similar environment.
- Certification Credentials: Possession or prior possession of a valid forklift certification.
- Safety Savvy: Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, prioritizing safety above all else.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical Aptitude: Physical agility and capability to lift heavy objects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. On-the-job experience is highly valued.
