Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team. Quality Control Technicians play a crucial role in our operations by accurately inspecting, cleaning and grading vehicle parts in compliance with Company quality control standards.

Responsibilities:

· Performs work following all safety policies and procedures including maintenance and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Demonstrates knowledge of company quality control standards by accurately inspecting and grading vehicle parts and documenting damage.

· Communicates with sales representatives to describe any discrepancies in quality or inventory of the part.

· Tests parts in accordance with established procedures and testing methods.

· Maintains records detailing parts defects.

· Initiates and supports the continual improvement of B&R quality control program.

· Demonstrates good work habits by keeping the work area clean and safe and reporting all safety issues to a supervisor.

· Assist in loading route trucks

Qualifications:

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Trained in quality assurance.

· Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

· Experience in automotive quality control

Salary: $17.00 - 20.00 an hour
