Shop Supervisor

Job Summary
The Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of labor workers/construction, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction and carpentry knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of construction laborers in daily shop operations.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and proper carpentry techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with management to develop efficient workflows and improve shop processes.

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a shop environment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and managing a team.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
