Job Summary

As a Cleaning Technician at B's Cleaning, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services according to our company standards and client specifications. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all assigned cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, effectively, and with a focus on eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Perform Cleaning Tasks to High Standards:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including but not limited to: kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, offices, and common spaces.
• Dust all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and window treatments.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors effectively, using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and other bathroom fixtures.
• Clean countertops, appliances (interior and exterior), and cabinets in kitchens.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Make beds and change linens (as required).
• Clean windows and mirrors, leaving them streak-free.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., oven cleaning, refrigerator cleaning, carpet spot cleaning).

Adhere to Eco-Friendly Practices:

• Utilize B's Cleaning's approved cleaning products and methods.
• Minimize the use of disposable products and prioritize reusable items (e.g., microfiber cloths).
• Follow proper procedures for the dilution and application of cleaning solutions.
• Conserve water and energy during cleaning tasks.
• Properly dispose of waste and recycling according to company guidelines.

Maintain Professionalism and Communication:

• Arrive at job sites on time and prepared with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, wearing company-provided attire.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and colleagues.
• Report any issues, damages, or client concerns promptly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Efficiency and Time Management:

• Complete assigned cleaning tasks within the allocated timeframe without compromising quality.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all responsibilities are met.
• Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.

Attention to Detail:

• Demonstrate a keen eye for cleanliness and ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Pay attention to small details that contribute to a sparkling clean environment.
• Follow checklists and specific client instructions accurately.

Safety Awareness:

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Cleaning gloves will be provided.
• Identify and report any safety hazards.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

• Be willing to adapt to different cleaning environments and client needs.
• Accept changes in schedules or tasks as required.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete jobs efficiently.
• Offer assistance to colleagues when needed.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred but not always required.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• A commitment to eco-friendly practices is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
