Security / Door Technician

B&S Integrated Security Systems is looking for an experienced Security and Door Hardware Technician for Full-Time work throughout New England.

This is a full-time position with potential for overtime and growth in the industry. The position will be focused on installing and servicing doors and hardware. This will include specialty doors, locking hardware, closers, auto operators, electric strikes and other associated door hardware. In addition to specialty security doors, we provide security products and services such as electronic access control systems, master key systems, commercial and residential intrusion/fire alarm systems, surveillance systems and smart integrated technologies. B&S services customers nationwide but the majority of clients are in the North-East/New England area.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
B&S employees are tasked with quality installations and repairs, punctuality and great communication for our customers and the company. Technicians are expected to complete daily tasks, timely repairs and maintain a professional attitude. As a Service Technician long days can be part of the routine work week to ensure customers facilities are left secure at the end of the day but we recognize the importance of life outside of work and want to minimize overtime

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Servicing Existing Doors and Hardware

- General Locksmithing (Master Keying, Key Cutting, Hardware Installations, etc.)

- Punctuality to jobs

- Communication

- Clean work spaces and job sites

- Hardware knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in metalwork and general construction.
- Experience in commercial doors, hardware & preventative maintenance programs is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Clean driving record is a must for operating company vehicles.
- Must have a positive & professional attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time constraints
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong attention to detail and processes
- Strong service orientation to customers

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
