Teen Driving Instructor - PT
B-SAFE is a family and veteran owned small business with a casual atmosphere. This is a great job for veterans, retirees, and those looking for supplemental income. Employees make their own schedule and we also offer paid training. All licensing and certification costs (Such as background checks) reimbursed by B-SAFE after 6 months of employment. The instructor vehicle and any other necessary materials will be provided by B-SAFE. B-SAFE Drives 7 days per week so we can work around your schedule. Hours are more flexible in the summer as teens are out of school.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be licensed to drive in the State of Ohio for 5 years prior to application.
- Must be able to pass both state and federal background checks.
- Must have a clean driving record: no more than 2 points.
- CDL experience is helpful but not required.
- Must have Physical done Bi-Annually including as part of initial training
As a driving instructor your responsibility is to teach young adults how to follow and interpret laws, properly operate a vehicle, and to B-SAFE behind the wheel, in a professional manner. Classroom and behind the wheel certification allows you to teach both. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Grading in car sessions and or in class on state of Ohio documentation.
- Maintaining vehicle and classroom cleanliness. (Cost of Gas, Insurance, and Car washes are covered by B-SAFE.)
- Fueling up company vehicle at the end of every work day.
- Filling out time card in a timely manner.
- Filling out a monthly in car instructor log for in car drives and turning them into the training manager.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 β 32 per week
