Job Summary: The Loan Operations Officer at B:Side Capital is knowledgeable about the programs offered by B:Side Capital and maintains a special degree of expertise regarding the SBA 504 loan program, 7(a) program and direct loan programs. A Loan Operations Officer will manage critical tasks associated with loan packaging, file audits, document review, compliance with trailing eligibility, and tracking of original signatures. A Loan Operations Officer will provide excellent customer service to all parties involved in the process, including speaking with prospective clients and attending events as needed.
Major Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Understand and appreciate the mission, values and customer service commitment of the organization;
- Understand all loan programs offered through B:Side Capital with specific attention to the Small Business Administration 504, 7(a) and Direct Loan program;
- Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and loan policies for loan programs offered at B:Side Capital. Primary focus will be placed on form compliance and file audit procedures;
- Loan Onboarding: Pulling necessary reports and organizing received documents in an accurate and timely manner to allow loan officers to begin the underwriting process;
- Loan Packaging: Assemble complete applications which meet the Small Business Administration requirements;
- Provide support, and collaboration throughout application process, approval, closing and loan servicing;
- Maintain and update loan-specific information within the B:Side Capital and SBA CAFS databases to ensure that full and complete information is kept and maintained;
- Support other members of the loan production team in the processing, analysis, packaging and submission of small business loan requests as needed;
- Collaboration throughout the organization on technology enhancements and process best practices;
- Submit and verify tax transcripts;
- Regular and predictable attendance;
- Other duties as may be assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Higher education is a bonus, but not required.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related field

Supervision Received: Reports directly to the Lending and Priority Assets Director.
