Title: Event Sales Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Summary of Position:
Implements and maintains the building of B Social’s revenue through meaningful marketing strategies and the sales of corporate, private, and social events. Completes specific responsibility for the operational sales goals in accordance with the company standards. Assists in the execution of team leadership and exemplary guest services
Duties & Responsibilities:_________________________________
· Directly responsible for the growth and performance of B Social’s events and birthday sales.
· Use computer database program to track client calls and results.
· Receive and respond to all charitable donation requests. (Donations must be approved by GM)
· Create new sales collateral as needed in accordance to the brand specifications.
· Create and Manage the VIP party program.
· Maintain and update the party reservation agreements and contracts.
· Maintain a Quarterly Sales Plan to keep the owner aware of your upcoming sales plans.
· Direct and lead all staff toward great guest service every shift of every day.
· Provide all booked parties with a formalized proposal and contract prior to event.
· Monitor events to ensure positive guest experience.
· Respond to all guest inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
· Be a visible presence on the floor and in the community for B Social.
· Maintain an extremely clean, safe environment for all guests and employees.
· Communicate all needs for upcoming parties to management, kitchen and staff.
· Participate in weekly meetings to update team on events, activities and results.
· Provide an updated 2 week Event Calendar at managers meeting.
· Ensure the collection of payment for all events in a prompt and timely manner.
· Provide weekly forecasts of event sales to the general manager.
· Send out all promotional mailers.
· Conduct B Social’s tours for potential corporate or social events.
· Work with other managers to execute events and maximize guest expectations.
· Assist in creation and implementation of all marketing materials outside of general sales collateral, where needed.
· Maintain all private and semi-private areas cleanliness and maintenance.
· Adhere to and enforce basic hygiene procedures and uniform standards on all service staff.
· Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- High level of professionalism.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous banquet experience in a quality establishment for a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong interpersonal skills (people skills)
- Calm and collected under pressure
- Physical fitness: This position requires bending and standing (long periods of time in hot conditions), walking and lifting (40 lbs)
- Must maintain TABC certification.
