What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Maintenance Technician I position at B&W QUALITY GROWERS?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.
· Diagnose, Rebuild and Repair company vehicles and equipment under limited supervision.
· Operation of vehicles and farm equipment for diagnostic purposes.
· Understanding and completion of daily, monthly and quarterly inspections and PM’s of company vehicles and equipment.
· Completion of all work orders with accuracy via CMMS.
· Assist with emergency and corrective action repairs.
· Under guidance and supervision, ready Farm Equipment and Company Fleet for season start-up and shut down.
· Maintain communication with Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Coordinator.
· Take direction from supervisors and effectively and efficiently manage your time.
· Be able to work a minimum of six days per week and 12 hours per day. Weekend work is required.
QUALIFICATIONS

· EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of Diesel and Farm Equipment Maintenance experience required.
o Diagnostic experience required.
o Welding experience a plus.
o Mechanical design and fabrication preferred.
o Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
· COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL: High – Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
· COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic
