What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Tech position at B&W QUALITY GROWERS?
Essential Duties
· Maintains building interior by wiping furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors; furniture, and carpeting; resupplying rest rooms; replacing light bulbs.
· Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash; removing debris from walkways and parking lot; painting; replacing light bulbs.
· Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area
· Assists in equipment and building repairs as directed by supervisor.
· Anticipating cleaning supplies/equipment replacement and maintains inventory.
· Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Maintains continuity between shifts by documenting cleaning actions; noting areas requiring additional care or monitoring.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
Must be able to see, sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, reach, bend, twist, squat, pull, push and lift and carry 50lbs constantly.
Must be able to work in temperatures of 34 to 40 degrees.
