What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality inspector position at B&Z MANUFACTURING COMPANY INC?
B&Z Manufacturing Company has been a well-established machine shop in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1960. We have grown rapidly and are planning on growing 4X in the next couple of years.
We have recently opened a second Ca. location in Milpitas that needs an inspector as well as another Inspector at our San Jose facility.
Working Interview required for 1 work week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- All daily functions of a machine shop inspection room
- Read and understand blueprints and utilize GD&T
- First run inspections on any machinist’s new set-ups
- Program Zeiss CMM’s, experience a plus, training available
- Actively go out and work with employees on the floor for in-process inspection
Must be able to mechanically inspect parts to print verification)
First Article Reports
Must be able to speak and write in English)
- Read and understand the following company documents : Quality Policy, Safety Manual and Company Policy
- 85% paid Kaiser for medical, dental and vision also available. After 60 days.
- 25% discount on tools after 6 months employment
Job Details :
- 40 Hours per week, (overtime depending on workflow)
- Monday-Friday : 6 am to 3 pm
- Starting Date : ASAP
