Summary
The Facilities Maintenance and Disaster Recovery Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the bank’s facilities maintenance and disaster recovery programs. This dual disciplined position will be responsible for managing the relationship with third parties to maintain b1BANK facilities in a manner consistent with company brand and corporate mission. The role will also be responsible for managing the disaster recovery response and technology recovery planning process.
Specific Job Functions
- Serve as the primary interface between our third-party facilities management services provider and the bank.
- Review emergency and break/fix work orders when the amount exceeds the approval amount of our third-party provider and prepare recommendations for action to the area director for decisioning.
- Review all facilities maintenance expenses over 5k and submit to area director for payment processing approval.
- Prepare and submit annual facilities maintenance budget allowances.
- Monitor and report threat forecasts and event updates as related to the availability of b1BANK operations and services.
- Communicate disaster event information to necessary stakeholders.
- Manage the activation of b1BANK facilities recovery and teammate support plans following a disastrous event.
- Recommend recovery service providers and maintain relationships with third parties that may be needed to support b1BANK’s preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.
- Prepare and present program status on a routine basis to management committees.
- Maintain recovery response supply inventories.
- Provide recovery plan coordination between the information technology teams and the b1BANK departments as needed to maintain and exercise business continuity plans.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Seven (7) years of facilities management experience required.
- One (1) year leadership experience required.
- Must possess a general understanding of the maintenance and repair requirements of facility infrastructure items to include HVAC Systems, Plumbing, Alternate Power, Roofs, Doors, Windows, Landscaping, general premises, etc.
- Understanding of OSHA duty of care and other regulatory guidance related to providing a safe and secure workplace
- Expert in disaster recovery preparedness and response program management
- Ability to understand, interpret, and summarize threat conditions and forecasts
- Ability to perform tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
