Key Responsibilities and Transition Plan
Month 1: Building Trust and Familiarity: In your first month, you’ll co-lead sales team meetings with the owner and shadow them during one-on-one meetings to understand the nuances of team dynamics. You’ll start by handling minor management tasks to establish yourself as a supportive leader. As the month progresses, you’ll engage in informal coaching sessions and begin training on our reporting systems, assisting with data gathering and analysis.
Month 2: Shared Responsibilities: As you move into the second month, you’ll begin leading portions of sales meetings and conducting one-on-one meetings with select team members independently. Your role in coaching will become more formalized, and you’ll take on the majority of day-to-day support queries. By the end of the month, you’ll take full responsibility for creating and presenting weekly reports, with the owner providing oversight as needed.
Month 3: Full Leadership Transition: In your final month, you’ll fully take over one-on-one meetings and lead sales team meetings independently, while the owner steps back into an observer role.
