B2B Property Management is hiring for a detail-oriented property inspector to inspect residential properties. You will be evaluating properties for compliance in construction regulations, inspecting the integrity of structures, and documenting your findings in reports.
To ensure success as a property inspector, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of construction regulations and ideally have experience in a similar role. An outstanding property inspector will be someone who can accurately identify regulatory noncompliance and safety hazards.
Serious applicants who are available to provide 25-30 hours weekly are encouraged to apply and will be preferred. Having a construction or inspections background is not NECESSARY and will not determine your selection.
Responsibilities
- Performing inspections as per the compliance requirements.
- Inspecting water quality, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and structural integrity.
- Performing detailed indoor and outdoor inspections.
- Responding to resident’s complaints and evaluations and communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
- Finding out safety hazards and structural defects.
- Facilities repairs and improvements.
- Maintaining a report on regular inspections.
- Perform Rent ready inspections, before and after the repairs are done as per checklist and company standards.
- Updating the client and stakeholders with inspection programs.
- Following the guidelines on client’s lease agreements.
- Adhering to all the company’s rules and regulations.
- Minimizing potential safety hazards.
- Taking photographs of the violation and logging actions.
- Determining maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Coordinating property maintenance as and when required.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Property Inspector, Property Manager, or a similar position in the Real Estate industry is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of inspections as per Section 8/Eden standards.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Sound knowledge of construction rules and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Good time management abilities.
- Strong decision-making skills.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
