Job Description: As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our customers. You will handle transactions, assist customers with inquiries, and ensure that each customer has a positive experience. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately process customer transactions at the register, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Answer customer questions about products, services, promotions, and store policies.
- Provide product recommendations and assist with locating items.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns as needed.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Ensure that inventory is stocked and organized in the store.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
