Job Details
Candidates must have at least seven (7) years of experience in a project leadership role, managing increasingly complex vendor-packaged system deployments and/or process improvement projects. Experience should include:
Project Leadership & Management:
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate diverse project and program teams, including both internal and external resources.
- Strong track record of holding teams accountable for performance and delivering projects on-time, on-schedule, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Ability to work effectively with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to executive sponsors, technical and non-technical staff, and all levels of management.
- Experience influencing and securing buy-in from executives, stakeholders, and peers.
Project Methodologies & Execution:
- Hands-on experience managing projects within an established project lifecycle framework (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SDLC/Waterfall).
- Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Expertise in budget planning, proposal drafting, and making budgetary adjustments as needed.
Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Proven ability to research industry best practices and apply continuous process improvement methodologies.
- Experience establishing benchmark data to drive project success.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
