Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in ServiceNow Discovery and ITOM. The ideal candidate will have ServiceNow Discovery certification and hands-on experience in CMDB, Service Mapping, and IT operations automation. This role involves developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, ensuring seamless integrations, and optimizing IT service management (ITSM) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Discovery solutions to automate asset discovery and improve CMDB accuracy.
• Configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
• Develop and integrate Discovery probes, patterns, and sensors to enhance infrastructure visibility.
• Collaborate with IT teams, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and implement best practices for ServiceNow Discovery and ITOM.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL and ITSM frameworks, aligning discovery solutions with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Discovery, CMDB synchronization, and service mapping.
• Work with REST, SOAP APIs, and integrations to enhance ServiceNow capabilities.
• Develop scripts and workflows using JavaScript, GlideScript, and Flow Designer to automate IT processes.
• Maintain system security, performance, and best practices in ServiceNow development and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, focusing on Discovery and ITOM.
• ServiceNow Discovery Certification is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
• Hands-on experience with Discovery probes, sensors, patterns, and mid-server configurations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow development.
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, ITSM, and IT operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB synchronization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist Certification.
• Experience with Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and Orchestration in ServiceNow.
