Reporting into our Global Director of Brand & Creative, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Leadership across NY and Berlin. You will oversee the strategic direction and tactical execution of Growth, CRM, and Brand campaigns while leading and nurturing a talented in-house team of writers, designers, and videographers.
This position is located in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days/week in office.

You will:
- Lead full cycle development of innovative and on-brand creative assets for performance marketing campaigns across digital, offline, lifecycle marketing, retention marketing and brand campaigns
- Translate the Babbel product into compelling, human-centric storytelling campaigns that attract and retain learners
- Lead the creative teams, working with leaders of content, video, and design to develop and execute cross-functional campaign concepts through to completion
- Develop themes, messaging-direction and write copy
- Oversee sourcing and creation of original creative content across ecommerce platforms, social media, CRM, promotions and campaigns
- Ensure brand and creative consistency across product and marketing assets
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) managing and mentoring a creative team of 8 creatives
- A Performance-driven mindset with an extensive track-record of executing high performing direct-response and brand-building campaigns; a strong portfolio of brand, digital, and marketing campaigns
- Able to translate big ideas into engaging, simple language and proficient in selling those ideas to stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to balance creative excellence with strategic business goals
- Data-informed approach that builds campaigns based on performance metrics
- A diverse personal network of freelance creatives
- AI Savvy: Experience leveraging AI tools to boost creativity and productivity in your work
- Working knowledge of graphic editor and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma, photoshop, illustrator, after effects, etc)

- In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is $160,000-$188,000. Placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.
Salary : $160,000 - $188,000
