Position Summary : Join a talented team of engineering professionals at Vogt Power International Inc. Vogt is based in Louisville, KY and specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment and solutions to the power generation industry. We are an industry leader in heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with both domestic and international customers. The Business Development Director will build and expand relationships with new and existing clients in the Power Generation, Industrial, and Petrochemical markets. Execute strategic direction and growth initiatives for HRSG markets and engage clients including large engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), traditional electric utilities, independent power producers and major petrochemical companies. Provide support to Account Managers in the sales organization. Essential Responsibilities : Develop customer relationships directly and through established representative network to develop a strategy for ongoing and upcoming projects Monitor, collect, and evaluate project information and educate clients on our company and products Maintain a line of sight for upcoming projects assist in the development and implementation for the Strategic Plan Provide timely information to Vice President of Sales and President of VPI through daily contact, weekly, and monthly reports Provide support and information to Strategic Operations on market trends, forecast, and budgets Assist Marketing group in development of literature and promotional information Represent the Company at professional and industry meetings / conferencesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
