This individual will be responsible for leading proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives. It requires customer interaction and coordination across a multi-department team. The range of the Sr. Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process, and Specialty Heat Exchangers. The Sr. Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales, and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables.
Responsibilities :
- Assists in managing and directing proposal effort and personnel
- Assists in the development and maintenance of proposal tools and processes
- Reviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial items
- Develops / reviews proposal estimates and schedules
- Evaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standards
- Ensures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documents
- Modifies proposal in response to amendments, changes, and management insight
- Conforms contracts by negotiating final open items
