About the Job
As a Field Service Engineer III, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers. Your extensive experience in power plants and equivalent field environments will enable you to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of B&W equipment, as well as competitor's equipment
- Commission new equipment and provide technical advisor services during construction phases of major projects
- Work on international projects and collaborate with customers, account executives, vendors, and sub-contractors
- Collect and evaluate field data, prepare technical reports, and document work activities and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or similar Engineering Technology
- Five plus years of industry experience in power plants or equivalent field environments
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with others
- Ability to travel extensively (approximately 90% of the time)
Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
