Responsibilities
- Drive delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or courier environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
