Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport furniture to customers.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Load and unload furniture items, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while driving and handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving or delivery services preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with using pallet jacks and forklifts is beneficial but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading furniture.
