Dallas Law Firm seeks a skilled IP docketing paralegal to perform a variety of docketing duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct of the State
2. Maintains IP docketing database
3. Tracks intellectual property matter deadlines, taking into consideration PTO rules and client- specific guidelines
4. Verifies and dockets filings and other patent prosecution processes
5. Works closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure dockets are current and accurate
6. Coordinates and communicates with the team to ensure all docketing tasks are covered
7. Other duties as required to accomplish the patent prosecution docketing process
8. Work may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours
