Position: Bridge Program Teaching Assistant
Office: Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UGAA)
Supervisor: Rob Major, Director, Undergraduate Administration
We are looking for a hardworking individual who is interested in working as a Teaching Assistant for the Summer Bridge Program. The Bridge program is a combination of virtual learning (either Math or Writing) and on-campus pre-orientation activities designed to acclimate new Babson students to the college experience. Students must be available to work July 29th through August 16th. The ideal candidate has been through the program, has passed WRT1001 with a C or higher, enjoys working with new students, and is motivated by the challenge of working with new college students. The Bridge Program Teaching Assistant will be assisting the Professor with tasks that are delegated.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and attend meetings with the professor and students.
- Provide support for students.
- Support the collection and analysis of program information.
Qualifications:
- Public Speaking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Flexible Hours
- 1 year of college
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to with multiple students
