Babson College Service and Justice Community Action Program (CAP) is an opportunity for work-study-eligible students to do community service for up to 20 hours a week and get paid for it through Federal and Babson work-study funding. YOU MUST BE FEDERAL WORK-STUDY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.
Student Managers will have a host of additional responsibilities, ensuring their team gains real-life experience at a non-profit organization while at the same time gaining a greater sense of some of society’s problems and what can be done to help. Job Description:
Community Action Program students will attend a weekly program in a nonprofit providing assistance to individuals and families in under resourced communities. All programs with times and dates are listed below. Travel is provided in a Babson vehicle to all off-site service locations.
Qualifications:
- You must be FEDERAL WORK-STUDY ELIGIBLE to apply for this program.
- Please check your student work-study to ensure that you have work-study prior to applying
- Interested in utilizing your entrepreneurial mindset to create a positive social impact
- Have volunteer experience and are flexible.
- You must be able to attend training on Friday, January 26th from 12:45-2:00 PM

The Afterschool Programs focus on providing mentorship through after-school homework help and providing safe and fun activities for the children who live at the Housing Authority.

Senior Citizen Technology Mentor

Teach Entrepreneurship to Youth Virtually through the Babson Youth Entrepreneurship Program. BYEP curriculum is created and taught by Babson College students. The Babson students teach the Entrepreneurial Thought and Action methodology and present on topics that help participants gain the skills necessary to prepare for work.
All mentors must complete a 4-hour training session and attend weekly planning meetings.
