Network Engineering & Operations Junior Network Technician

The Junior Network Technician will assist the Babson Network Engineering &
Operations team with various summer projects which will include:
 Physical space assessment for implementation of Cisco Spaces in Catalyst
Center.
 Assist network staff with campus wide wired port reduction initiative.
 Assist network staff with configuration, deployment, and installation of network
switches.
 Survey WiFi signal strength and coverage as directed by Network staff.
 Assist with network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
 Assist with battery replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
throughout the Babson campus.
 Assume additional responsibilities as required.
The technician may also be called upon to help support and/or deploy WiFI access
points.
Additionally, the junior technician will support Network Engineering & Operations staff
with Tier 2/3 production operational issues as they arise with staff supervision.
