TITLE Athletic Facilities Supervisor – External Programming
DEPARTMENT Athletics and Recreation
REPORTS TO Coordinator Business Development and Facilities Operations
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Athletic Facilities Supervisor will further the cause of strengthening the Babson community by overseeing external rental operations within the Len Green Recreation and Athletics Complex (LGRAC) by delivering exceptional customer service, managing facility reservations, ensuring safety and security of the complex.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Works with the Coordinator Business Development on day-to-day external programming including but not limited to scheduling, assisting with the management of programs, and maintaining facility operations.
Play an integral role for reservations starting and ending on time for external rentals as needed.
Act as a key holder for the complex securing spaces as needed and ensuring proper access to indoor and outdoor athletic facilities for external programming usage.
Deliver exceptional customer service to external rental groups. Other duties include unlocking and rearranging athletic facility equipment.
Provide an expert level of communication and programming knowledge regarding the recreation department.
Possess effective and clear communication skills, particularly with staff team members and in daily interaction with external groups.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE
WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to work with culturally ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies.
Strong supervisory skills.
Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Must be able to work under all weather conditions.
Must be able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.
All Babson College faculty and staff authorized to work on campus must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any appropriate boosters.
