Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. Weekdays as needed in evening and Saturday/Sunday. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, particularly with infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role requires a commitment to fostering the emotional and physical well-being of children while supporting their developmental milestones.
Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary restrictions as needed.
- Assist with daily routines including diaper changes, naptime, and playtime.
- Educate children through play-based learning activities that encourage curiosity and creativity.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Provide support for children with disabilities or special needs as required.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit on hand.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare or babysitting, particularly with infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of daycare practices and early childhood education principles is preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to nurture and educate young children.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures; certification is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote preschool readiness.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in various situations involving children.

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
