Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control and Inspection
- Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to evaluate product quality.
- Document non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Testing and Analysis
- Conduct standard tests to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Analyze and interpret test results to identify trends and potential issues.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
- Prepare quality control reports and communicate findings to relevant teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in quality management systems (QMS).
- Computer-Based Quality Systems
- Use software tools for data entry, analysis, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/NetSuite software).
- Support the implementation and maintenance of digital quality systems.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to quality control systems.
- Collaboration and Compliance
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
