In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. What the Role Is
Babylist is hiring a PR and Communications Manager. This will be an integral role of the Brand Marketing, reporting to the Director of PR and Social, and will focus on supporting both our PR initiatives and VIP relationships in and around Babylist Beverly Hills. This person will work closely with our PR agency and support our overall press narrative across our key audiences of consumer, tech and industry media.
This person must be based in the Greater Los Angeles area and can travel to Babylist Beverly Hills ~2 days / week to be the Babylist brand liaison and host influencers, celebrities, and media (exact frequency will vary week by week).
Who You Are
- 5-8 years of experience in PR, ideally with a mix of experience in consumer and tech
- You have 2 years of experience working with celebrities, influencers, agencies, and management teams. You are a skilled, savvy, and extremely professional communicator and point of contact for this critical audience
- You are a creative thinker and problem solver
- Deep understanding of strategic PR initiatives and media relations and how those can propel a brand forward
- You have extraordinary written communication skills and have the ability to write and edit executive emails, press releases and internal memos with impeccable grammar while keeping your audience entertained and engaged
- You have a natural curiosity and understanding of the pop culture landscape. While you don't have time to consume every piece of media, you understand trending celebrities, TV shows, movies, and music
- You have experience and knowledge of the ever-evolving influencer ecosystem and have a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships
- You are metrics savvy and can connect PR and VIP initiatives to brand measurement, assessing every opportunity with a high level of judgment for how it grows and strengthens the Babylist brand, both quantitatively and qualitatively
- You understand social media (experience is a plus).

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay for this role is $128,250.
