Overview
BACA is currently seeking a full-time Office Assistant to join the administrative team at the Elkhart Learning Center. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and organized. This is a collaborative team environment with opportunity for growth within the organization!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Compensation: Starting at $17/hr
Responsibilities
- Greet families, visitors, applicants and staff and ensure guests sign in upon arrival.
- Answer multiple phone lines; route calls to appropriate parties; take messages.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception, lobby and other work stations.
- Ensure that clinic rooms and materials are tidy and clean.
- Perform various administrative/clinical duties to ensure proper operation of office/clinic.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by Clinical Director, Staff Support Manager, or other staff
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, clients, job applicants and other visitors maintaining a professional demeanor and presentation.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office: word, outlook, excel, and other computer programs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to client information.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under stress and when dealing with challenging situations.
- Ability to ask the appropriate professional for guidance dealing with challenging situations (e.g. Human Resources, Intake, Billing, etc.).
