Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, utilizing TOAST POS or similar systems.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries over the phone.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with guest services practices and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
