We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Woodwind & Brass instructor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves providing high-quality guitar instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents. The Guitar and or Piano Instructor will work closely with students to tailor lessons to their individual needs and goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
- Teach guitar techniques, music theory, and performance skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and creativity.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary programs that may include elements of dance, theater, or other arts.
- Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in guitar playing across various genres.
- Experience working with students, particularly children, in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, enabling effective teaching strategies for diverse learners.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support a positive classroom environment.
- Additional skills in ballet, photography, culinary arts, or theater can enhance the learning experience for students.
- Ability to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all students.
- Excellent communication skills to convey concepts clearly and effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
