Qualifications
SUMMARY
Follows company established follow up strategy for contacting and updating the company’s customer data base. Responsible for all incoming phone and email correspondence from online traffic. Works for the appointment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicates effectively with all customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, by chat, or by email.
Provides information to interested customers, including additional pictures, video, or vehicle service history.
Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products, services and inventory available.
Works to set appointments for the floor staff, including lease/ purchase information, providing “out the door” pricing, completing wholesale transactions or providing manufacturer rates/ rebates/ incentive information.
Meets established monthly Internet Sales goals.
Uses company approved templates and scripts for email and phone contact.
Assists customers in selecting a vehicle.
Understands the psychology of Internet customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction.
Checks e-mail on a consistent basis and responds to inquiries immediately. Prioritizes leads for appropriate follow up.
Communicates with appropriate sales staff on customer appointments and maintains follow up with customer after turnover to assure their needs are met.
Maintains contact with the Sales Associate and/or Manager of the store to ensure that the customer assigned out is followed up with properly.
Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.
