What are the responsibilities and job description for the Install Manager position at Bachman's Roofing, Building & Remodeling?
Overview
The Install Manager will effectively manage the safety and quality of assigned job sites through various means, including but not limited to proper installation of all required materials based on the manufacturers’ specifications. In addition, the employee will execute all company-required safety protocols, which include federal, state, and local safety codes. The project manager will exercise his discretion and independent judgment regarding immediate corrective action regarding either quality and/or safety.
Prior construction industry is a must.
Duties
·· Review all file material for new jobs, submitted for pre-production
· Schedule a follow-up appointment with the customer to obtain any missing measurements, colors, or product selection
· Complete Take-Offs, order material, schedule equipment (if needed), obtain permits,
· Communicate effectively with all parties involved, such as customers, production, management, warehouse, and subcontractors.
· Ensure all unused materials from job sites are returned to the Warehouse for inventory updates and proper credit from vendors
· Prepare on-site change orders for customer’s approval, documenting any changes to the original contracted work
· Conduct job site inspections to assess the safety & quality of the work being performed, during the progress of the project
· Take immediate corrective action regarding any safety or quality issues found on the job site
Adherence to all Federal & State safety requirements, including but not limited to the Company’s safety programs
Cloverleaf the Neighborhood
· Conduct a final walk-through with the Customer, to ensure satisfaction. Make minor quality corrections. Request customers’ signatures on the Certificate of Completion and request a Google Review
Take the final invoice to the final walk-through and collect the final payment
Experience
· · At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry with proficiency in knowledge of roof and siding installations
· Ability to read project documents and review roofing and siding drawings
· Maintain a working knowledge of Dataforma, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license for the operation of a company vehicle and is insurable under the Company’s Commercial Auto Policy
Physical demands:
·· Requires work in all weather conditions and have a flexible work schedule
· Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
· Ability to use hands and fingers to feel objects, handle tools, and or controls
· Reach with hands and arms
· Ascends/ descends ladders
The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
