We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Baldwin, Georgia location. This critical role will oversee the daily operations of our egg warehouse, ensuring efficient processes, accurate inventory management, and timely deliveries to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural products logistics, with experience in managing teams and supervising daily warehouse activities. They must possess excellent communication skills, be able to analyze data and make informed decisions, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs hourly personnel in carrying out egg warehouse assignments.
- Performs administrative duties in preparing reports and records for timely and accurate egg pickups and inventories.
- Manages training and safety development of employees to continue their improved skills and knowledge of their jobs.
- Keeps Breeder manager informed with timely and sufficient information. Reports inventories and needed information to Egg Warehouse manager as needed.
- Coordinates supplies to farms and ensures timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in an agriculture, science, business, or related area.
- Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
