A leading asset management firm is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Technology-Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Team Lead of Network Engineering, this role is perfect for a hands-on contributor with strong troubleshooting skills, a background in enterprise-class network environments, and the ability to manage work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Maintain Cisco Call Manager and VoIP applications, including Webex integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, VoIP, and circuit connectivity issues.
- Oversee and support alerts, escalations, day-to-day maintenance, and upgrades of network infrastructure (120 devices).
- Manage logs, perform connectivity reviews, and ensure smooth network operations.
- Collaborate with IT staff and end-users to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Occasionally work outside normal business hours for equipment upgrades/installations.
Requirements
- 6 years experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise-class hardware.
- Knowledge equivalent to the Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching/Enterprise level (certification not required).
- Experience with Telcos for circuit installations and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface with end-users effectively.
- Background in data, voice, and cybersecurity systems.
- Experience in a financial services environment.
- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), MFA/SAML, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and cloud vendors (e.g., AWS).
