Job Overview
Back Alley is expanding, and looking for the right leader!
We are hoping to find someone to assist in curating menus, being creative with recipes and be excited to work with unique flavor profiles. We currently change our menus seasonally and love to try new things as special features.
Most hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7am-3pm, with occasional catering events/food trucks or private events at Back Alley.
In the kitchen, we expect positive atmosphere, with working as a team to be an important factor. We pride ourselves on dressing made from scratch, delicious high-quality foods, and reasonable prices. Working fast and efficient is important in this fast paced bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and culinary principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Pay: $17.91 - $20.00 per hour
