What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jet Ski Guide position at Back Bay Adventures, Inc?
Job description: Back Bay Adventures personal watercraft guide (jet ski guide). We are looking for an guide to navigate and patrol rental jet skis.
Job Duties:
-Instruct customers how to safely operate their PWC
-Inform customers of MD PWC laws and enforcing these laws
-Lead a group of renters to designated riding area and ensure safe operation of rented watercraft from Back Bay Adventures
Hours: We are looking for an employee who can work anywhere from 6 hours to 13 hours in the sun daily from Memorial-Labor Day. Due to the short season, no vacation time or consecutive days off.
*Due to COVID 19, we are currently delayed in opening, but are hoping to train and open by the end of June
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, have a MD boater’s safety card that is NASBLA certified, and guide experience is preferred. If hired as a guide you would be required to take and pass the 3 hour DNR guide course.
Pay rate: $11/hr tips
