What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Chiropractor position at Back Bay Health & Performance?
Back Bay Health & Performance is currently looking for an independent sports chiropractor to join their multidisciplinary team.
BBHP is a physical rehabilitation and wellness center located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. We are dedicated to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care through the integration of movement, strength training, nutrition and recovery strategies. We work with active individuals of all ages and ability levels.
Our in-office team includes two sports chiropractors, two pelvic health physical therapists, a massage therapist and one registered dietitian nutritionist and our extended care team includes many medical, fitness and mental health care providers in the Boston area.
Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate the patient’s individual needs.
- Formulate a diagnosis and develop an appropriate treatment plan including functional goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team.
- Educate patient, family members and caregivers regarding patient’s progress and care plan.
- Participate in regular continuing education and other forms of ongoing professional development.
- Scheduling, billing, and other administrative tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Chiropractic license
- Chiropractic degree from an accredited college
Competencies:
- Knowledge of pain science principles
- Skills in applying movement, exercise, and strength training techinques to pelvic health populations
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Evidence-informed clinical decision making
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Passion for continuing education
- Ability to think critically
Credentialing with BCBS or Allways insurances is not a requirement, but a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
