What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Coordinator position at Back in Time Escape Rooms?
We're Back in Time Escape Rooms, a time travel themed escape room located in the Parks Mall in Arlington. For those of you who are wondering: “What's an escape room”, here's a brief overview. Customers are locked in a room with their friends and must find and solve puzzles within an hour to eventually escape. Different rooms also have a secondary objective like finding treasure or recovering a notebook full of evidence.

THE JOB
- Greet guests and instruct them to sign the waivers
- Give two short briefings about some of the rules of the room, with humor and information
- Observe the players in the room through cameras and microphones in order to be ready to assist via a computer program with pre-set clues
- Continue to facilitate good customer service throughout their experience
- Light cleaning duties
NECESSARY SKILLS:
- Good personality and must be able to speak comfortably and clearly to groups
- Able to do some physical exertion such as bending down and lifting objects up to 10 – 20 lbs to reset the rooms
- Can multi-task and keep calm under pressure
- Respectful and professional
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Fast typing and good spelling
- Good knowledge of technology
- Experience with Xola booking software and/or Square
- Flexible schedule
- Loves puzzles and games and is as excited to work here as our customers are to come play
- Able to do simple mathematics quickly when charging customers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
