Job Summary
The BOH (Back of House) Overnight Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in BOH areas, ensuring all workspaces meet cleanliness standards for the next business day. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of kitchens, storage areas, employee break rooms, restrooms, and other BOH spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors, ensuring all surfaces are free of debris, grease, and spills.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, fryers, and countertops.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and food waste in accordance with company and health department guidelines.
- Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitizers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols , including proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures, or faulty equipment) to management.
- Follow company policies regarding workplace safety and adhere to all OSHA standards.
