Back to Basics Learning Dynamics has a contracted SLP virtual position available for the 2024-2025 school year. Must be eligible to acquire a Delaware SLP license. Providing therapy virtually per IEP while students are in a school setting.
Position : SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - SLP
Job Description : The key role is to identify students with a communication disorder that may adversely affect a child's educational performance as well as address the communication needs of students who have been identified as needing Speech-Language services.
Duties
- Provide therapy 1 : 1 or small group services.
- Assess students to identify potential communication needs including articulation, expressive / receptive, pragmatic language, and swallowing.
- Write evaluation reports.
- Generate and implement and monitor individualized educational programs.
- Plan and provide services for students with speech language impairment as well as students with various disabilities qualifying for speech as a related service.
- Maintain case records for students including service logs, progress monitoring, and goal reporting.
- Collaborate and consult with parents, teachers, and other school staff.
